The Brontosaurus Theory

Out of Thin Air

Down the Road

There’s a place I know not far from here

Ten miles as the crow flies

It’s got a bar and a stage, with stars on the wall

And you can watch the moon go sailing on by

At eight o’clock the lights go down

And a man takes the stage

With his old fedora on, he sings his songs

About hard times and the life he’s made

He will sing Godspeed to you my friend

And I’ll see you down the road some time

God bless you all I’ll be back here in the fall

‘cause this gig’s in this heart of mine

When the show is over

He lays his guitar down on the stage

And the crowd cheers him on

Play just one more song

And Sonny lives on again
